To lead, organize, and direct supervisor and contractor forces to ensure all mechanical construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with project specifications and international codes.
1. Site Management & Leadership
Team Direction: Organize and direct site supervisors and contractor workforces to ensure productivity and timely completion of tasks.
Daily Coordination: Coordinate daily construction activities for direct-hire forces and subcontractors to maintain workflow.
Problem Solving: Lead troubleshooting efforts, identify field clashes or technical issues, and suggest immediate corrective actions.
Operational Continuity: Follow up on the daily installation processes and resolve site-specific problems to prevent delays.
2. Technical Execution & Quality Control
Installation & Inspection: Oversee the installation and inspection of mechanical equipment, piping systems, valves, and mechanical instruments according to applicable codes and standards.
Fabrication & Erection: Monitor and follow up on the pre-fabrication and erection of piping, pipe supports, and steel structures.
System Verification: Conduct inspections and "punching" of systems against Isometrics and P&IDs to ensure as-built accuracy.
Testing Readiness: Prepare piping systems for hydro-static testing and manage the clearing of punch list items to reach the reinstatement phase.
3. Inter-departmental Coordination
Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate between the Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and Material departments to ensure all required materials are available and delivered to the site in a timely manner.
Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.
HSE Leadership: Strictly apply and enforce the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
Risk Mitigation: Ensure all site activities are conducted under safe working conditions and that the workforce adheres to PPE and permit-to-work (PTW) protocols.
