The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial planning, and assisting in HR and payroll-related activities.
1- Accounting Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards, as well as tax regulations.
Handle tax filings, VAT returns, and coordinate with external auditors.
Monitor fixed assets, inventory, depreciation, and cost allocations.
Maintain strong internal controls and continuously improve accounting procedures.
2- Financial Support:
Assist in budget preparation, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting.
Track project costs and support cost control and profitability analysis.
Prepare financial reports for management review and decision-making.
3- HR & Payroll Support:
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support compensation structures, employee records, and HR documentation.
Assist management with HR policies and labor law compliance.
Coordinate with HR or management on recruitment and performance evaluation processes.
