Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee all financial operations related to exhibitions, booth stand production, and event management projects. This role requires expertise in project-based accounting, cost control, and compliance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored to event and exhibition projects.
Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and adjust budgets for booth construction, logistics, and event execution.
Cost Control: Track material, labor, and subcontractor costs to ensure profitability of each exhibition project.
Revenue Recognition: Apply appropriate accounting standards for project-based revenue streams.
Vendor & Client Reconciliation: Manage accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, industry standards, and internal audit requirements.
Cash Flow Management: Forecast and manage liquidity to support multiple concurrent projects.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, procurement, and operations to align financial planning with event execution.
