Are you a visionary Research and Development Engineer Specializing in Refrigerator Manufacturing ready to redefine the future of manufacturing? Responsibilities:
. Design & Development
Design and develop new refrigeration systems for refrigerator products (domestic/commercial) using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
Select key components (compressor, evaporator, condenser, expansion valve, thermal insulation) and optimize them for performance and cost.
Develop refrigeration circuit diagrams and build prototypes.
2. Modelling & Analysis
Use mathematical modelling and thermodynamics (using MATLAB, Python, or specialized tools such as Danfoss CoolSelector, NIST Refprop) to optimize system performance.
Apply heat and mass transfer principles to improve cooling efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Conduct root cause analysis for thermal or mechanical system failures.
3. Testing & Validation
Plan and execute laboratory tests for refrigeration systems (temperature, humidity, energy consumption, cycle testing).
Analyse experimental data to evaluate product performance and propose design improvements.
Document test results and prepare technical reports to support compliance with international standards (ISO, IEC, local/global energy efficiency regulations).
4. Integration & Production
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and assembly meet quality and safety standards.
Integrate mechanical components with electronic control systems (e.g., thermostats, sensors, PLCs where required).
Prepare technical documentation (BOM, assembly drawings, installation instructions) to support production and quality control.
5. Project Management & Innovation
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and task coordination to ensure timely product delivery.
Stay updated on emerging refrigeration technologies (e.g., natural refrigerants R600a/R290, smart refrigeration, VIP vacuum insulation panels) and propose their application in new products.
