The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing and monitoring all cost elements within the company, especially production and operational costs, in order to determine the accurate cost of products or services.  The role supports management in making informed financial decisions and achieving operational efficiency. Analyze actual costs and compare them with standard costs Identify cost variances and explain the reasons behind them Prepare regular cost performance reports for management Participate in budgeting and cost planning processes Support management in cost reduction and efficiency improvement decisions Ensure accuracy of all cost-related financial data Coordinate with production, warehouse, and purchasing departments to control costs
