Job Description الوصف الوظيفي
Prepare, review, and file accurate VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients in compliance with Egyptian tax regulations.
Conduct detailed analysis of client transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment and identify potential risks or opportunities.
Advise clients on VAT implications of business operations, transactions, and new legislation.
Liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients, managing audits, queries, and correspondence related to VAT matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring timely communication of changes to clients and internal teams.
Support the implementation and improvement of VAT compliance processes and internal controls.
Provide training and guidance to junior accountants and client staff on VAT compliance and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with audit, legal, and consulting teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Assist in the preparation of documentation for VAT inspections and support clients during tax authority reviews.
Contribute to the development of VAT advisory services and participate in business development initiatives.
