Oya Energy is is seeking to hire a General Accountant with strong experience in establishing and managing credit files with banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the process of opening and structuring the company’s credit file with banks, including preparation, submission, and follow-up of all required documents.
Manage and follow up on bank loans and credit facilities (short, medium, and long-term).
Handle direct coordination with banks regarding:
Credit facilities and limits
Letters of Guarantee (LGs)
Letters of Credit (LCs)
Loan schedules, interest calculations, and repayments
Prepare and review journal entries and bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and periodic management reports.
Issue, review, and control customer and supplier invoices, and follow up on collections and payments.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on tax reports (VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and corporate income tax).
Coordinate with external auditors firms.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting and tax regulations.
