Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and production-related goods. Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to support sourcing decisions. Issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze bids to select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability. Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance and service levels meet expectations. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Support supplier audits and corrective actions in coordination with Quality and Operations. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines. Work closely with finance and operations to track and report cost performance and variances. Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules. Resolve procurement-related issues such as shortages, quality defects, or delays. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow. Partner with production, planning, quality control and engineering teams to ensure alignment of material needs and specifications. Contribute to the launch of new products by securing materials during product development stages. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations. Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics). Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
