We are looking for a Tax Preparer for United States taxes to be responsible for preparing accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and businesses, providing exceptional client service, and staying current with evolving tax laws.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a supportive team and contribute directly to our clients' financial well-being.
The office working hours will be between 3:00 pm to 12:00 am and during the time saving 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.
Prepare accurate federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals (Form 1040) and various business entities (e.g., S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships – Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065), as well as trust and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 709) as needed.
Gather necessary financial documentation from clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Interview clients to obtain additional information and clarify relevant tax matters.
Research complex tax issues and provide advice on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax returns, answering questions and explaining tax concepts clearly.
Assist with tax projections and estimated tax calculations.
Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
Stay up to date with current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous professional education.
Utilize tax preparation software proficiently to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with responding to tax notices from federal and state authorities.
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and performance during the final interview.
