Job Summary:
Will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing and controlling costs to support efficient financial management.
The role focuses on budgeting, cost analysis, variance reporting and implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, record, and analyze production, operational, or project costs
Prepare cost reports and variance analysis (actual vs. budget/standard costs)
Develop and maintain cost control procedures and policies
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling cost projections
Track inventory costs, material consumption, labor, and overhead allocations
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions
Support month-end and year-end closing related to cost accounting
Reconcile cost accounts and ensure data accuracy in ERP/accounting systems
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and project teams on cost issues
Assist internal and external audits by providing cost-related documentation
