You'll translate complex structural engineering drawings into precise, detailed shop and erection drawings for steel fabricators and erectors. Responsibilities: Generate highly accurate and comprehensive steel detailing drawings, including shop drawings, erection drawings, and material lists, using advanced software like Tekla Structures. Interpret and analyze architectural and structural engineering drawings to identify potential issues and ensure design intent is met. Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and fabricators to resolve discrepancies and optimize detailing solutions. Perform thorough quality checks on all drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
