The Utility Site Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all site utilities systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role covers mechanical and/or electrical utilities across hospitality or industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Utilities Operation & Maintenance
Oversee operation and preventive maintenance of utilities systems including:
HVAC systems
Chillers & Cooling Towers
Boilers & Steam Systems
Air Compressors
Water Supply & Treatment Systems
Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
Electrical distribution systems (LV/MV)
Ensure uninterrupted utilities supply to all site operations.
2. Site Supervision
Supervise technicians and subcontractors on daily activities.
Ensure all works are executed as per drawings, specifications, and standards.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of utilities systems.
3. Energy Management & Optimization
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Improve system efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Analyze performance data and recommend improvements.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and system documentation.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on utilities performance.
Coordinate with management on issues and improvement plans.
