The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and profitability of multiple fashion retail stores within the assigned area. The role focuses on driving sales growth, maintaining brand standards, improving customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across all locations.
A key responsibility of this position is to continuously increase sales performance across all stores through strong leadership, commercial strategy, staff development, and effective execution of sales plans.
Sales & Business Development
• Drive and maximize sales performance across all assigned stores.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and store KPIs.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and take corrective actions when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, average transaction value, and customer retention.
• Ensure stores consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to improve commercial performance.
• Lead promotional campaigns and sales initiatives to increase traffic and revenue.
Operations Management
Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all stores.
Maintain company standards in visual merchandising, store presentation, and cleanliness.
Monitor inventory management, stock levels, and product availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety standards.
Team Leadership & Developmen
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store managers and sales teams.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide development plans.
Build a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and results.
Ensure proper staff scheduling and workforce management.
Customer Experience
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently maintained.
Resolve escalated customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Enhance the overall shopping experience to strengthen brand loyalty.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare regular sales and operational reports for senior management.
Monitor store KPIs including sales growth, productivity, shrinkage, and staff performance.
Recommend action plans to improve underperforming stores.
